Marilyn Monroe Comes to Auction
Heritage auction in Dallas Texas will be selling off seven great photographs of a young Marilyn Monroe taken by Richard C. Miller on July 29th.
On July 29th, Heritage Auctions in Dallas will hold their Signature Music & Entertainment Memorabilia Auction were seven photos of a young Marilyn Monroe will be auctioned off. Known as Norma Jeane, Monroe started her early career as a model and was photographed in 1946 by leading Hollywood photographer Richard C. Miller. Even before her movie career took off, Monroe was a star in front of the camera.
The prints are being offered by Miller's two daughters after his death in 2010 at the age of 98. In the latest release about the auction, Manager of Music & Entertainment Memorabilia at Heritage, Kristen Painter said, "It's a distinct pleasure to offer these rare images, which mark such a key moment in the life of one of Hollywood's greatest stars as well as the careers of one of America's greatest photographers."
