One event in the US may appeal to those seeking art valuations.
The Big Brothers Big Sisters Taste of Winona and Arts Auction could attract collectors who are keen to secure high art valuations for their rarities.
From handcrafted items to potentially jaw-dropping watercolors, the event showcases the creative talent of local artists in the US state of Minnesota.
"Jewellery, hand-painted Polish pottery, metal sculptures, paintings and more make up the tangible art pieces up for bid," according to Cynthya Porter in the Winona Post.
Furthermore, in addition to physical objects, the showpiece puts conceptual or intangible prizes up for grabs.
For instance, successful bidders can win a dinner with actors from the Great River Shakespeare Festival.
The spectacle takes place amid a backdrop of live music and casual summer dress.
Elsewhere, Teresa Giudice, star of the US reality TV show The Real Housewives of New Jersey, is set to put several luxurious items up for auction, following her bankruptcy last year.
