Diamond ring could achieve £14k antique valuation

Those looking to obtain accurate antique valuations might have noted that a diamond ring is being put up for sale with a price estimate of between £12,000 and £14,000.

Gerrard's auction room in Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, is offering a range of jewellery to bidders with cash to splash, as reported by Seventy Seven Diamonds Education.

Also up for grabs is a sculptured bronze figure on a marble plinth - created by Maurice Blik - which is expected to sell for between £2,700 and £3,250.

As one of the members of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, Blik's work could be held in high esteem by those looking for art valuations.

Moreover, a late Victorian mahogany long case clock is being auctioned for an approximate figure of between £8,000 and £10,000.

Elsewhere, antique valuation seekers might have noticed that a 170-year-old stamp is reckoned to be worth as much as £20,000, according to a piece in the Scotsman.
