A Ferrari F40 has been given an antique price guide of between £280,000 and £320,000.
The motor was valued by auctioneers of Historic at Brook lands in Surrey where it is set to go under the hammer on Saturday (September 25th).
According to the auction house, the rare example of the world's fastest production car was a last-minute addition to the 70+ classic vehicles section.
It noted that motor was the "most powerful, most expensive and fastest car" ever produced by the brand between 1987 and 1992.
In addition, the vehicle weighs 2,400 lbs and there are 1,315 owners of this type of model, which is regarded by some as the greatest super car of all time.
This news comes after it was announced that James Bond creator Ian Fleming's 1962 AC Aceca Coupe sports car - one of only six Ford-powered models of this type remaining in the world - fetched £80,000 at auction.
