Old Masters Appraised at Sotheby’s
Sotheby's will be hosting a two day sale on June 13-15 in Milan of a single owner collection of Old Masters, furniture, and travel books.
On June 14-15th Sotheby’s will be holding a special sale of a private single owner sale in Milan. The collection of Marquis Nicola Santangelo’s Old Master Paintings will be offered along with 19th Century works, furniture, and Travel books.
Some highlights include a wonderful painting by Lavinia Fontana, an artist from Bologna, from the 16th Century. The painting is estimated at €80,000-120,000. Another highlight is of a painting by Ministero delle Belle Arti estimated at €200,000-300,000. Along with these magnificent works, the sale includes many fabulous examples of Continental furniture as well as antique travel logs.
