When seeking iconic sculpture appraisals, the prices accrued at one upcoming auction could be considered.
Anyone seeking pop and film memorabilia valuations might be aware that a series of Star Trek-related items will go under the hammer in the US later this month.
Organised by Julien's Auctions, it will be staged at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas on June 27th, giving those in attendance the chance to bid for books, costumes and sculptures, among other rarities.
The estate of the late Gene Roddenberry, creator of the show, is donating all the proceeds from the sale to charity.
A hand-annotated script from Star Trek: The Next Generation is expected to fetch between $2,000 (£1,350) and $3,000.
It will also feature outfits worn by Majel Barrett Roddenberry for the part of Lwaxana Troi - estimated at upwards of $800.
Mr Roddenberry's son, Rod, stated: "My father would be proud that his memorabilia will not only be enjoyed and cherished by Star Trek fans, but that the proceeds will benefit society on a larger scale."
The auction house is also staging a sale related to musical icons at the same location on June 25th.
