One event across the pond will display a series of antique car this year.
Anyone with a passion for antique vehicles might want to note details of one upcoming showpiece in the United States.
The Antique Automobile Club of America (AACA) is celebrating its75th anniversary with a four-day event between June 30th and July3rd. It will take place in Louisville, Kentucky, giving those in attendance the chance to feast their eyes on some vintage motors.
More than 600 vehicles will be on display, dating from various periods in the last century. Among the featured cars are the likes of the 1909 Sears, 1929Essex and 1916 Milburn, reports autoweek.com. The AACA was founded in 1935 in Pennsylvania by 15 individuals, while today it has almost 60,000 members.
Furthermore, the organisers claim the car show festivities will take place indoors in order to protect the antique vehicles, while a special commemorative gift is being prepared for those who attend. Elsewhere in the United States, an antique painting by PabloPicasso recently fetched $106.5 million (£70.2 million) atChristie's in New York.
