News of one upcoming car sale may inspire those seeking classic car appraisals.
In news that may excite anyone seeking automotive valuations, RM Auctions has announced that it will put the only remaining 007 Aston Martin DB 5 movie car under the hammer.
The sale will take place at Batter sea Evolution in London and will give bidders the chance to get their hands on the rare 1964 motor.
It was used on screen for the James Bond films Gold finger and Thunder ball, which may enthral movie lovers and motor enthusiasts in equal measure.
The other version used in the films was reported to be stolen in 1997 and some believe it to be destroyed, leaving the soon-to-be auctioned vehicle as the sole survivor of the era.
It has silver birch exterior paint and a dark grey leather interior, not to mention the capability of reaching top speeds of 145 miles per hour.
Elsewhere, the British Car Auction is planning to put a rare Bugatti Veyron up for sale this year.
